The Chavchavadze Family has revitalized the vineyards at Tsinandali Winery, cultivating a diverse range of grape varieties. Notable grapes include Saperavi, Usakhelouri, Rkatsiteli, Mtsvane, and Kisi, along with aromatic Khikhvi, Tsolikouri, Tetra, Aleksandrouli, and Mujuretuli. The winery is dedicated to restoring native Georgian grape varieties and showcasing them on the global stage.
Winemaking Process at Tsinandali Winery
At Tsinandali, hand-picked grapes are processed using state-of-the-art technology. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging in French and American oak barrels, which enhances the wine's flavor profile. Tsinandali produces a variety of wine styles, including exquisite red, white, and rosé wines, as well as premium sparkling and dessert wines.
